This custom-made spiral cutter head set for log cabin’s wall is designed for a Japanese customer. 

The Japanese customer design a delicate and strong Tenon for their building materials. It requires a special cutter head set with 3 kinds of characteristics. First, the cutter can bear heavy cutting with quick feeding speed. Next, cutterhead need high precision angle because the tenon require an accurate 45-degree angle for the precision joining between wall and wall. The last, the tenon can keep same dimension no matter when the wall be manufactured, for achieving these characteristics, the cutterhead can’t be a brazed type since it requiring grinding when the brazed type cutter blunt, and grinding cutter head will affecting the dimension and precision of tenon. 

We worked hard to design and manufacture the cutterhead for cater the Japanese customer needs. Now, the cutter head set is successfully and smoothly working in Japan. Thanks for the Japanese customer’s waiting and giving us the opportunity to challenge the project.
